Multicultural Competencies, Diversity Management – training and consulting
Communication, Management, Marketing, Market Research
The main goal is to prepare you for business in a multicultural environment and show you what skills are helpful and how to develop them to succeed in international ventures. Some call it cross-cultural intelligence or cultural intelligence (CQ) and rank it among the most essential soft skills of the early XXI century.
It is helpful to know how culture can condition the communication and working style of managers and team members of different nationalities. It helps to understand how leadership styles and preferences for organizational culture differ among countries. Cross-cultural training also helps to better understand consumer preferences in other markets and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Sample training and consulting topics:
The bulk of the training is conducted in the form of a workshop – small groups practice and develop selected cross-cultural competencies through exercises; methods include role play, games, short field studies, mini case studies, and debates. Theoretical parts are illustrated with examples and discussed through the analysis of case studies. Knowledge and skills are put into practice in problem-solving cases from management, marketing, HR, and negotiations.
